I've stayed this long because the culture is genuinely warm. We're well staffed compared to other homes I've worked in, which makes a real difference to care quality.
Good induction and buddying when I started. Dementia training is thorough. Would be nice to see better break facilities but overall a solid place to work.
The team here genuinely cares about residents and each other. Management are approachable and actually listen when you raise concerns. Shift patterns are predictable which makes family life easier.
